The stimulus bill (now coined the “spendulus bill”), which is planned to be voted upon in the Senate within the next few days, contains deliberate and unconstitutional verbiage “prohibiting uses of funds” for any building which is used primarily for religious activities. Tom DeMint and other House Republicans vehemently fought to have this ludicrous content removed prior to Democrat-only passage of the bill in the House, unfortunately, they were unsuccessful.
