It would be difficult to believe, if this sort of corrupt dealing wasn’t commonplace in Washington.

America is back, baby!

January 19, 2010, in this man’s humble opinion, will go down in the annals of American history as a significant milestone for the republic and all for which it stands as established by our founding fathers and the U.S. Constitution. The beginning of the end of the progressive, socialist, big government movement being made by the Obama Administration and this Congress and the start of the resurgence of the real America, entrenched in the values of small government and personal responsibility bestowed upon us by our founders.

Last night, Massachusetts, a perennial hotbed of liberal ideals, voted against big government in favor of the conservative Republican. In the special election to fill recently deceased Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat, Republican Scott Brown delivered a crushing defeat to Democrat Martha Coakley, 52% to 47%, equating to a margin of about 120,000 votes. This extremely unlikely result (Martha Coakley had an over 20% lead in the polls on December 19, at which time she decided it was OK for her to take a 2 week Christmas break from public appearances) should have any intelligent congressman reeling, particularly the Democrats who are masquerading as Obama-Pelosi-Reed lap dogs.

The ramifications and reasoning are astounding:

America has spoken loudly through Massachusetts. This is a microcosm of the Tea Party sentiment which has been being conveyed across this great land since the inception of the Obama Administration and its extreme left Democrat controlled Congress last January. If such an election result can occur in this predominantly liberal minded state (Democrats outnumber Republicans 3 to 1 and Obama won by 27% in the 2008 Presidential election), what’s going to happen in all the critical Congressional elections which will occur later this year in November? Democrats who value their jobs will definitely be rethinking their votes.

The Democrats have now lost their filibuster proof majority of 60 in the Senate. If NOT ONE Republican votes for a bill, then it cannot pass. This, for all intensive purposes, should shutdown the healthcare bill anywhere close to its current socialist form, the cap & trade bill, and the future anticipated immigration amnesty bill. If passed, this trifecta of reforms would have senselessly crippled our economy for decades and would have passed on the check to our children and theirs.

In exit polls, the overwhelming majority of voters identified the reason for their vote was the current healthcare bill. The disapproval with this bill by the huge majority of Americans is monumental and the disregard of this opinion by Congressional Democrats is staggering to say the least and unethical & even criminal to say the most. Nearly 75% of undecided party voters cast their ballot in favor of the Republican, whose simple conservative platform was small government, personal responsibility and strong defense.

Embedded in this remarkable story line are incredible ironies surrounding Ted Kennedy. Ted, the man who waited his life for a single payer government controlled healthcare system to be passed, stood on the precipice of seeing it to fruition at the time of his death in August 2009. Now, as a result of his death, this special election was held to fill the seat that he held for 47 years and that seat is taken by a conservative Republican who vows to vote against the very healthcare bill that Ted Kennedy endorsed. That’s not it, though. The true irony is the fact that Ted Kennedy’s sincere desire to provide at a cost palatable to the average American, the same outstanding healthcare that enabled him to overcome for so long the cancer to which he eventually succombed, has a much better chance of coming to fruition with the defeat of this travesty of a healthcare bill which, in reality, has nothing to do with healthcare and everything to do with government control. It’s unfortunate that he didn’t recognize that when he had the opportunity to influence it.

Heresay has it that the Democrat machine is working on a plan to procedurally delay the approval of Scott Brown into the Senate. This is an absolute no win for them. If they proceed with such a tactic, they will be villified by mainstream America in a way which will dwarf what they’ve seen so far. If they don’t do this, however, they will in all probability lose their precious healthcare bill, an effort that has already been openly acknowledged by the majority leadership will sacrifice the Democrat majority in both houses come November. Hey, you Democrat in Congress: it sure sucks to be you!

This is a great day to be an American! However, after the smoke clears on this monumental victory, the hard work to reverse the current progressive, socialist direction and stabilize the republic, truly begins. Do NOT get complacent!

If you can believe it, this issue, which, of course, remains untouched by our gatekeepers of democracy, the mainstream media, is probably MORE IMPORTANT to our families’ collective futures than healthcare, cap and trade, and illegal immigration legislation combined.

According to Lord Christopher Monckton, a recognized man-made climate change skeptic, who has read the United Nations Global Climate Change Treaty, this document is no more than a guise to establish a New World Communist government. It’s, basically, Obama’s U.S. cap & trade and redistribution of wealth policies on steroids at the international level, enabling the U.S. to fund the global climate change hoax on a worldwide level, however, it’s much more sinister than that.

The kicker is that if this treaty is signed by Obama (and all indications are that the Nobel Peace Prize laureate will not back down from this grand opportunity to further subjugate the U.S. and become a leader in the New World government - it’s a dream come true for our Community Organizer in Chief), our very Constitution prevents us from ever correcting the malevolence. The reason is this treaty takes precedence over our Consititution and withdrawing from it requires approval from all the other signing member countries, which won’t happen because we’ll be the primary funder.

This conference takes place in Copenhagen in December. Please pass this to everyone you know and let’s jointly figure out how we can most efficiently and rapidly get the word out to patriotic Americans about this travesty. Well, President Obama was at it again last night with another prime time news conference, this time promoting his health scare scheme. This is his fifth news conference already, and the fourth in prime time. The monologue and follow-up question and answer session was just more of the same rhetoric, nothing of substance or specifics.

Honestly, this just reinforced by belief that the President doesn’t really understand the problem nor cares about the solution. He and the Democrat majority Congress haven’t even considered the viable market-based proposals being put forth by Conservatives that would empower personal responsibility by Americans and maintain healthcare insurance and service in the private sector. In my mind, this tells me he’s just taking advantage of a troubled economy and his current popularity to push through the largest expansion of government ever and the most significant since FDR’s New Deal in an effort to secure power indefinitely for himself and his liberal cronies by pandering to America’s non-productive entitlement sector.

I find it most telling that which this President does, since, unfortunately, as a professional politician, he rarely does what he says. I, also, believe it is telling of one’s true beliefs that to which one is willing to subscribe in one’s own life and their family’s lives. The House Financial Services Committee, headed by chairman Barney Frank, just passed a bill (all committee Democrats voted for it and all but 2 committee Republicans voted against it) permitting it to proceed to the House for a vote to make it law. The “Pay for Performance Act of 2009″ would enable the Treasury Department, headed by Secretary Timothy Geithner, to set the salary of EVERY employee working for ANY company that receives a capitalist investment from the U.S. government, INCLUDING the ability to supercede existing contracts and compensation/salary agreements as the Treasury department “sees fit”. Look’s like Barney Frank and his liberal buddies are well on their way to making every one of us a ward of the “state”.

Timothy Geithner, Treasury Secretary, opened the door with his statement on Wednesday when he said he was “quite open” to considering a global currency standard which would, in effect, eliminate the U.S. dollar. In response to this statement, which, incidentally, represents a totally reversal of Geithner’s opinion on this topic as stated in direct response to her public question to him on Tuesday, Senator Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) has offered Congressional legislation in the form of an Amendment to the Constitution which would limit the powers of the President and his Administration from unilaterally entering into any agreement that would supplant the United States dollar with some other international currency.

The amendment as stated: “The president may not enter into a treaty or other international agreement that would provide for the United States to adopt as legal tender in the United States a currency issued by an entity other than the United States.”

Tax Day Tea Parties including Harrisburg’s
Tax Day April 15th is fast approaching and the fiscally responsible Americans among us are preparing for a peaceful, yet forceful, demonstration of their dissatisfaction with Congress’ partisan and socialist private sector bailout (and socialist takeover), economic stimulus (entitlement spending the likes the U.S. has never seen) and budget legislation (which, in even the most conservative estimates, triples the national debt that existed during the Bush Administration) already passed or currently being proposed, which is encouraged and endorsed by the Obama Administration. The liberally biased mainstream media, who is invested too heavily in the Obama Administration’s success, predominantly refuses to report this rapidly growing capitalist revolution, dismissing its proponents as the lunatic fringe of the conservative movement, despite the significant numbers of concerned Americans that have been flooding the streets for capitalist tea party rallies in a growing number of American cities. President Obama, although he won’t acknowledge it publicly, realizes the challenge to his socialist agenda that this peaceful revolution represents because the premise for it is data-based and grounded in history, in fact, he has gone viral. He has perpetrated an aggressive email video campaign to his “followers” professing the benefits of his endorsed excessive spending and is asking these individuals to knock on doors and influence their neighbors to give his plan a chance.

Calling for an American Capitalist March on Washington
These demonstrations are just encouragement and a spring board, however, for the vigilance that each of us who are concerned about our country’s future must maintain on a daily basis including factually influencing our friends, family, neighbors and congressional leaders to the danger this administration’s fiscal policies pose to the American way of life. The same life that responsible, hard-working, productive Americans have contributed toward and benefitted from for over 230 years. Ours and our children’s livelihood, that for which extremely brave Americans have valiantly fought and many have distinguishably died, is under assault. We cannot permit it to be vanquished by politically-oriented, career-motivated, power-mongering politicians who are sequestered secretly in some smoke-filled room making decisions over a cup of coffee that will impact you, me and ours forever.  

Take charge of a like-minded initiative in your community. My aspiration is that, within the next 60 days, this conservative activism metamorphosizes into an American Capitalist March on Washington, a peaceful, yet persuasive, demonstration large enough to dwarf Obama’s recent 1.5 million person inauguration turnout, such as to bring so much nationwide and worldwide attention that it cannot be ignored or dismissed by anyone. This is the only way to redirect the partisanly liberal Congress’ rubber stamping of every Obama Administration fiscal initiative.

Please join me in this patently American fight worth fighting.

As you know, the Obama Administration has been throwing around alot of huge dollar amounts in their proposals for bailouts and budgets. In line with 50 being the new 40, I guess trillion is the new billion?

Well, I guess it’s not enough that President Obama has approved your hard earned tax dollars to be used to fund sundry pork barrel projects that have nothing even remotely to do with economic stimulus, as well as to save every company and individual who has made poor financial decisions. He’s, also, using our money to turn the White House into a nightclub to be enjoyed by his family, friends and well-connected celebrities that, when considering the pace at which they are being held, causes the chronicled Clinton Administration escapades of this sort to pale in comparison

I guess when you have an entitlement mentality, it stands to reason that you are believe you are, also, entitled to be taken care of by the taxpayer. It’s just sad when a President can’t even exhibit the same restraint and make the concessions that he’s requesting of us hard-working individuals who are paying his salary and, I guess, his and his friends’ bar tab, too. I guess the 600,000 who lost their jobs in February will understand, though.
