To facilitate one of our expert services, we audit public records and search for unclaimed funds held by government agencies that are owed to private individuals and businesses ["Client"]. When we locate such funds, we attempt to establish contact with the client to inform them of their good fortune. If the client desires to proceed with us acquiring these funds that are due them, we enter into a written agreement to do so.

Obviously, we need to get compensated for providing this service. Had it not been for us, the client would never have known that any unclaimed funds in their name even existed. We do NOT, however, EVER ask for any upfront money from the client. We absorb all acquisition costs and take our fee from the returned funds based upon the written agreement into which we enter with the client. We handle all the coordination with the corresponding government agency to facilitate the return of the funds. In other words, the client incurs NO RISK to establish whether or not they have unclaimed funds due to be returned to them. The client just relaxes and waits for their check.

Time is of the essence in this process, however, since there is a time limit on the availability of these monies. If they are not claimed within this window, the government is permitted to keep the funds for themselves via a process known as escheatment. Every day is critical toward eliminating the possibility that the government escheats these funds.
